What I'm LOVING right now: boyfriend pants

With a focus in 2013 to get back to my fighting weight and be the BEST that I know I can be ... my focus for clothing has turned to workout wear.  I LOVE all of the great options for cool gear to workout with.  I do NOT love the high prices on many of those types of things.

I adore looking at Lucy and Lululemon for clothing ... but mostly I just look.  For the most part my workout gear is Target with some Nike thrown in for good measure. :)  And that is OK for now.  I really just sweat it up and throw it on the ground only to be washed and worn again ... repeat the cycle.

But what I WAS looking for was a versitile pant.  I could be worn on a light workout day ... could be worn at home ... could be worn to yoga.  Most of all ... a pant that is comfortable but STYLISH.  I saw a friend in the gym last week and corned her "where did you get those pants?  I love them."  Athleta.  Ah-ha.

I must have them.

Lucky for me my friend Julie recommended that I sign up for a Gap Credit card.  You see, this baby earns you a lot of money.  I ONLY buy sale items, Old Navy purchases and so forth on this card ... doing that earns me tons of reward dollars.  I've earned around $75 over the last 8 months that I'd had the card but likely only spent less than $250 (think baby gifts, kids clothing, etc).  Those rewards were burning a hole in my wallet (oh, by the way, they last for 4 months when you get them AND they are good at Gap, BR, ON, Athleta and Piperlime!?!?!?).  If you shop there ... get a card!

ANYWAY.  I bought these "boyfriend" pants.  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  They look super cute, the material is awesome, and they come in Petite.  I'm in love and I just had to share it here.  I was able to a) use an on-line deal to save 30% AND b)use my reward money and c)pay with my Gap card earning more money.  Now THAT is how I like to shop.

Santa brought me the Wunder Under cropped pants from LuluLemon for Christmas! I know they are outrageously expensive, but I think they might be worth every cent. There is something magical about these pants! :) They feel amazing with the way they suck you in. The wide waist band is perfect. And they are extremely figure-flattering!

I love Athleta! We are lucky enough to have retail stores here so I can try things on. I've had great luck with their workout tops and bathing suits, too.
