I'm hanging in there with Project Life! I'm keeping it pretty simple, using things from my existing stash and really trying to focus on "telling the story" of our days. I really enjoyed that from last years album -- the story. Added in that, I'm trying to add more funny quips and quotes from the kids (Luke especially is FUNNY lately!)
Since the previous week I'd done a one-page 12x12 layout for PL, I had the opposite page to fill up. I had thought our week was "slow" and then on that Saturday we were invited to play Hockey ... then I suddeny had loads of cute pictures! That is where the PL Insert H comes in handy to add in extra little photos or treasures. (via Shutterfly on a photo heavy week I'd just change my layout to add more pictures, it was really EASY like that).
Here is how it looks in the album... (those hockey photos are placed in the top of the insert but look like one overall layout...)
...then you turn the page onthe insert to see this "spread" unfold ...
In keeping with the previous page from week 5, I tried to keep a cohesive color scheme in the red family. I really like when the colors all jive together and keep the album looking consistent. In fact, one of my favorite things about my Shutterfly album is the cohesive look/color scheme of the entire album.
Loving the project and it is feeling a bit more natural in my weeks to think about it, plan for it and carve out some special time for it in my weeks. I'd say this week I spent 30 minutes total on Project Life. 10-15 minutes getting pictures organized and 15-20 minutes putting it all together. (this doesn't count the ordering and picking up of the pictures and tis week I used a combo of Walgreens and home printer).
Happy to being doing this thing called LIFE ... and documenting it along the way!

love seeing these. :)
